Wrestling PROGRAM

The New Britain Youth Twisters Wrestling Club started in 2006, led by Head Coach Charles L. Ferguson. The wrestling program caters to boys and girls ages 6-14. The goal of the wrestling program is to draw interest to the sport of wrestling in hopes of building a program that directly feeds the ranks of the New Britain High School wrestling team.

In 2016 the Twisters program partnered with New Britain PAL in hopes of strengthening the relationship between the police and the community.

The New Britain PAL Twisters youth wrestling club has had many successful athletes participate in the program. We have recorded 31 state qualifiers, several athletes were medal winners at the Connecticut State Wrestling tournament, and many of our athletes have gone on to participate in the New England Regional Wrestling tournament.
